About EnabledFuture

A Sustainable Future
Without Compromise

EnabledFuture is an activist consultancy working across metals, chemicals, clean energy and circularity. We connect scientific evidence with industrial and commercial realities to support accountable decisions and practical routes towards closed loops.

Founded in 2016 · Led by Dr Michelle K. Lynch, CChem FRSC

THE ENABLEDFUTURE PERSPECTIVEFOUR VERTICALS
SCIENCE → INDUSTRIAL REALITYCONNECTED BY EVIDENCE

Our purpose

Closed loops.
Accountable progress.

Our mission is to help move industrial supply chains towards full circularity, with integrity in the technologies, evidence and decisions that shape that journey.

We examine the connections between production, use, recovery and reuse: where material value is retained, where losses occur, and what changes to technology or operating practice can close a loop. Energy requirements, chemical hazards, product quality and commercial viability all belong in that assessment.

EnabledFuture’s Hexazity® philosophy brings this closed-loop ambition into focus, connecting the use of materials, heat and electrons with the wider industrial system.

Activist consultancy

Integrity that informs
the decision.

We scrutinise the delivery of sustainability commitments. Our work connects evidence about environmental consequences with the choices required for technology development, investment and industrial change.

01

Scrutinise the claim

Investigate the evidence behind technology, market and sustainability claims. Examine assumptions, system boundaries and the basis of reported performance.

02

Understand the system

Trace the materials, processes and supply-chain relationships that determine the outcome. Bring technical, environmental and commercial dependencies into view.

03

Define the route forward

Evaluate improvements, recovery pathways and exit strategies. Develop roadmaps and supply-chain insights that support practical progress towards closed loops.

Integrity means reporting what the evidence supports, identifying gaps and explaining the implications for the decision. Our assessments make the reasoning inspectable, so clients can understand the basis of the findings and the questions that still need resolving.

Who commissions our work

For decisions with
industrial consequences.

EnabledFuture’s consulting is for technology developers, industrial businesses, investors, stakeholder organisations and public bodies evaluating technologies, supply chains and routes towards circularity.

A consulting assignment can support a technology portfolio, investment appraisal, commercialisation programme, competitive assessment or circularity roadmap. The scope is shaped around the decision, the industrial context and the evidence required.

The evidence behind the advice

Scientific detail.
Commercial understanding.

Our methodology combines public-domain research and patent analysis with primary research where the assignment requires it. We examine technology performance alongside markets, process economics and lifecycle consequences.

Findings are developed into an agreed output, such as a technology comparison, evidence review, market assessment or decision roadmap. Alongside consulting, our Insights, Technology Dashboards and Hexagon CPE Training connect specialist knowledge with its practical use.
