Continuing Professional Education
EnabledFuture Hexagon CPE provides non-degree continuing professional education for technical and non-technical professionals who need to understand technologies, evaluate evidence and make informed industrial decisions.

The Hexagon CPE subject framework
EnabledFuture’s continuing professional education develops the knowledge professionals need to evaluate technologies, challenge assumptions and make informed industrial decisions. Courses welcome technical and non-technical colleagues seeking deeper expertise, broader sector understanding and greater confidence with customers and stakeholders.
We connect scientific and academic understanding with commercial reality through industrial case studies and real projects. Training can be tailored to your organisation’s technical background, priorities and decisions.

Flexible professional learning
A framework that brings core evidence skills and specialist industrial knowledge together.
The Hexagon CPE connects technology evaluation, supply chains, patent analysis and market understanding across the sectors we serve. It supports professionals developing expertise within their current role, preparing for greater responsibility or exploring a new career direction.
Core learning covers information research, evidence assessment and researching technologies, companies and markets. Specialist modules then let delegates shape their focus around professional development and workplace priorities. Individual modules and tailored courses can also address a specific organisation’s needs.
Teaching draws on Dr Michelle K. Lynch’s 30+ years of industry and consulting experience, connecting scientific detail with the realities of industrial decisions.
Applications are open for the 2027 Hexagon CPE intake. Contact us for course scheduling and delivery arrangements, or to discuss an individual module or a tailored programme.

Practical exercises combine information research and evidence gathering with assessment of environmental consequences. Lifecycle Chemical Safety and Responsible Science run through our teaching, helping delegates scrutinise claims and consider the wider effects of industrial choices.
Delegates must pass ongoing assessments during each module. Questions, discussion and practical application support learning throughout. Our T.E.S.T. framework — Train, Evaluate, Support and Transfer — creates a constructive feedback loop between instructor and delegates, with support guided by the principle that no delegate is left behind.
